Mr. Dionysis Asimakopoulos is a Partner and co-head of our Firm’s Commercial Law and Litigation Practices.
He provides senior legal advice on various regulatory, commercial and civil law, labor law, legal support for IT and network companies, corporate clients and vendors. His practice also includes corporate/commercial litigation and he serves as general counsel for corporations and organizations across a variety of industries.
During the last 20 years, Dionysis’ professional career has spanned civil and corporate/commercial law experience in, amongst others, the following roles: Director of the Legal Department at Wind Hellas Telecommunications S.A. (formerly as STET/TIM), In House Counsel – Legal Department, and at I.Pantelides & Associates Law Firm.
Dionysis’ professional experience covers every aspect of corporate & business law. Relevant regulatory experience includes handling a large number of pending litigations, disputes, claims and arbitration, strategy setting for pending high profile cases, contract terms, contractual liability, statutory and regulatory compliance, risk assessment and management, merger and acquisition procedures and documentation.
His advice covers all kinds of commercial agreements including purchase and supply, partnering, agency and distribution, franchise, logistics and warehousing, facilities management, management arrangements, commercial outsourcing, joint ventures and strategic alliances. He regularly represents corporations, board committees, and other forms of enterprises in compliance, corporate governance counseling, and executive compensation arrangements.
Dionysis also covers the full array of labour/employment law, including dismissal and salary claims, labour-related accidents, discrimination claims etc. In addition, he focuses to a significant effect on real estate law and has vast experience of human resource and labor issues/cases, as well as data protection issues.
Dionysis’ law practice encompasses court procedures and litigation, dispute resolution, real estate law, insurance legislation, negotiations. He provides strategic and policy advice to clients in regulatory matters affecting a wide range of sectors.
