Ms Amalia Athinaiou is an Associate of our Firm and a member of our Competition Law and TMT Practices.
She specialises in the areas of merger control, abuse of dominance and restrictive practices, focusing to a significant extent on the telecommunications, media and technology markets. She actively participates in notifications before the Hellenic Competition Commission and E.E.T.T and also takes part in antitrust compliance projects.
Her practice further includes advisory and contentious work on Intellectual Property especially in relation to digital sectors as well as advice on a wide array of TMT matters, including e-commerce and data protection.
Prior to joining our Firm, Amalia had served as a trainee at European Commission’s DG COMP and as a legal consultant within the antitrust practice of a leading international law firm in Brussels, where she acquired hands-on experience on a wide area of antitrust issues.
