Dr. Michael Skordis

Mr. Michael Skordis is a Partner and co-head of our Firm’s Tax Practice.

He provides senior legal advice on various regulatory, trade & business law issues, covering also administrative & commercial law aspects, and focusing to a significant extent on the taxation and technology sectors. His practice also includes corporate/commercial litigation and he serves as general counsel for corporations and organizations across a variety of industries.

During the last 28 years, Michael’s professional career has spanned regulatory policy, business law and trade/commercial law experience in, amongst others, the following roles: Founder of the law firm Skordis & Partner, Heidelberg; Legal Advisor of the Boutaris Groupin Germany; Legal Advisor to Nestle Greece in Germany; Legal Counselor of Cyprus ZEOEPSILON Ltd (Zeolithos Holding); Associate lawyer in Germany of the 1899 Hoffenheim football team; Associate lawyer in Germany of the football club SV 07 Elversberg; Associate lawyer in Tipico Sportwetten Germany; Associate lawyer of the Farm Bank of Frankfurt Germany, Honorary (honoris causa) Doctor of Business Counseling from United Global Royal Church in Wuoming, USA, Tutorat of Commercial and Economic Law at the University of Mannheim.

His professional experience covers every aspect of business and corporate regulation. Relevant regulatory experience includes handling a large number of multinational proceeding for establishment and transformation of businesses, legal coverage of business activities in mainly German-speaking countries and Cyprus, mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, legal business coverage, commercial representation and distribution by Greek and European Law.

In addition to regulatory issues, he focuses to a significant effect on Property Management Consulting, International hereditary law, Greek and German real estate law. Michael also has vast experience of large contract drawing up in Greek, German and English and advises clients on every aspect concerning claims collection within the EU and foreign title enforcement.

Michael is also involved in all aspects of Tax Planning and International Tax Law and is active providing strategic and policy advice to clients in regulatory matters affecting a wide range of sectors.
